Samsung launched its latest flagship lineup, the Galaxy S24 series in January. The company is also expected to introduce its next-generation foldable smartphones — the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and and the Galaxy Z Flip 6 at a Galaxy Unpacked event in July. Now, a new report claims that the South Korean tech giant is working on a Fan Edition smartphone that will be added to the Galaxy S24 lineup.
The rumoured Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will succeed last year’s Galaxy S23 FE. A few details about the upcoming premium smartphone have also been leaked on the internet.

Samsung Galaxy S24 FE: What to expect

A tipster named OreXda took to social media platform X (previously Twitter) to reveal a few specs about the rumoured Samsung Galaxy S24 FE smartphone.
As per the post, the Galaxy S24 FE may sport a 6.1-inch AMOLED panel. The tipster also noted that Samsung may offer the smartphone with two chipsets — the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Exynos 2400 — in various markets.

The smartphone is also likely to be backed by 12GB of RAM and may arrive in two different storage variants — 128GB and 256GB. The FE variant is also expected to pack a 4,500mAh battery unit. To compare, the recently launched vanilla Galaxy S24 model comes with a 4,000mAh battery unit.

Apart from this, the FE variant is also expected to have multiple similarities with the Galaxy S24 model which was launched earlier this year. However, since the FE variants are usually toned-down versions of the flagship phone, Samsung may even cut corners in some areas.
The tipster didn’t reveal the rest of the specs but claimed that the company will maintain the current $200 price difference between the vanilla and the FE model. The Galaxy S24 FE may also come with less-powerful cameras and may even be less durable than the vanilla Galaxy S24 smartphone.
If Samsung plans to stick to last year’s timeline, the company may launch the Galaxy S24 FE smartphone in October.
