In the face of tough competition from Rajkumar Hirani’s SRK film Dunki, Salaar has managed to surpass the global Rs 400 crore mark and is now eyeing the Rs 500 crore milestone in the coming days.
As of December 25, Sacnilk reported that the film has achieved a net collection of Rs 31.84 crore in the domestic market, bringing its total collection in India to Rs 240.94 crore. The overall occupancy in the Telugu market for the day stands at 59.16%, with morning shows recording 46.34% and rising impressively to 71.97% during afternoon showings. Salaar’s performance seems to have been boosted by the Christmas holiday. It is visibly contributing to its stronger Monday showing.

Jawan’s first Monday domestic net was Rs 32.92 crore. The SRK film experienced a consistent decline in daily box office figures throughout the second week, only to regain momentum over the weekend. It remains to be seen if Salaar can maintain its performance against Jawan for the rest of the week.
On its debut day, Salaar recorded a domestic net of Rs 93.45 crore and producers Hombale Films announced its global gross of Rs 178.7 crore. Additionally, the film is witnessing decent advance bookings for Tuesday, already earning Rs 2.97 crore, with over 1.6 lakh tickets sold nationwide.
Salaar is receiving mixed reviews from fans and critics, and the movie is satisfying Prabhas fans to a great extent with its action and thrilling elements. Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan are also playing vital roles in this movie.
