NEW DELHI: After Kolkata Knight Riders‘ commanding 106-run victory over Delhi Capitals in the IPL, Mitchell Starc, pivotal in the win with two wickets, emphasized the significance of luck in T20 cricket. Starc’s resurgence was crucial for KKR, who displayed a stellar performance across all departments at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium.
Reflecting on his performance, Starc stated, “In T20s, you get some dropped chances and some edges, but we are 3-0, and that is what it is all about.Nothing really as I said before. Games come thick and fast. It is T20 cricket, it can get brutal. You take a bit of luck here and there.”

“We are 3-0, been clinical with the bat, so personal things aside, the team is going fantastic,” Starc added, praising the team’s cohesion. He lauded the contributions of players like Sunil Narine and Andre Russell,.

KKR’s dominance was evident from the onset as openers Phil Salt and Sunil Narine set the stage with an explosive partnership. Narine’s blitz, coupled with Angkrish Raghuvanshi’s impressive knock, propelled KKR to a formidable total of 272/7.
