Reliance Industries and Walt Disney recently announced their partnership. This $8.5 billion entertainment powerhouse, led by Nita Ambani as the board chair, aims to revolutionise the content landscape in India and beyond. Former Disney top executive Uday Shankar will play a key role as vice chair.
The deal also means more options for users of the JioCinema app.Reliance Jio offers prepaid plans, known as ‘Entertainment plans’ that come bundled with the complimentary Jio Cinema Premium subscription with validity ranging from 28 days to 365 days. In addition to the complimentary JioCinema Premium subscription, these plans also offer free calling and data benefits.

Rs 148 plan: Offers 28 days validity

This is the cheapest plan that comes with a free JioCinema Premium subscription along with SonyLiv, Zee5, Lionsgate Play, Discover+, SunNXR, Kanchha Lannka, Planet Marathi, Chaupal, DocuBay, Epic On and Hoichoi subscription. Additionally, the plan also offers 10GB of data. However, there’s no calling and SMS benefits are offered with the plan.

Rs 398 plan: Offers 28 days validity

This plan comes with unlimited calling, 100SMS per day and 2GB daily data along with unlimited 5G data as a part of Jio Welcome Offer. Moreover, Jio is also offering 6GB of additional 4G data with the plan.
In terms of OTT benefits, the plan includes a JioCinema Premium for 28 days along with Zee5, Lionsgate Play, Discover+, SonyLiv SunNXR, Kanchha Lannka, Planet Marathi, Chaupal, DocuBay, Epic On and Hoichoi subscription.

Rs 1,198 plan: Offers 84 days validity

The plan includes unlimited calling, 2GB daily data and 100SMS per day. The plan also comes with 18GB of additional data and unlimited 5G data. OTT benefits includes JioCinema Premium, Prime Video mobile (for 84 days), Disney+ Hotstar (for 3 months) along with other OTT services as per above mentioned plans.
Users also get access to JioCloud and JioTV service with the plan.

Rs 4,498 plan: Offers 365 days of benefits

This is the most expensive prepaid plan offered by Jio that comes with free JioCinema Premium subscription (1 year). In addition, the plan also comes with Prime Video Mobile ( for 1 year), Disney+ Hotstar Mobile edition ( 1year), Zee5, Lionsgate Play, Discover+, SonyLiv SunNXR, Kanchha Lannka, Planet Marathi, Chaupal, DocuBay, Epic On and Hoichoi subscription.
Unlimited calling, 2GB daily data, 78GB additional data, unlimited 5G data as per Jio Welcome Offer, 100 SMS per day are also included with the plan.
