Navya Naveli Nanda, granddaughter of Amitabh Bachchan, has opened up about having disagreements with her mother Shweta Bachchan Nanda and grandmother Jaya Bachchan and said that it keeps the three women of her family ‘aligned.’
Talking about their conversations around different opinions about life, Navya told Hindustan Times that there are issues and different life experiences and the relationship between the three of them is the crux of the show.
Since her podcast What The Hell Navya shows a candid side of Jaya and Shweta, Navya expressed that she’s happy that her mother and grandmother don’t hold any filter and remain organic with their opinions.
When Navya was asked how the Bachchan family tackles the strong opinions of Jaya in public, the 26-year-old defended her grandmother saying, “No one can have one side to them. Everytime she’s spoken – professionally or personally, that’s her. She’s the most real person I’ve met. Everything we see is her side. She always speaks her mind.

Navya Naveli Nanda gets candid about the privilege of coming from the Bachchan family; says ‘I don’t think I would be where I am if…’

Her brother Agastya Nanda also became a part of her podcast. He recently made his debut with Zoya Akhtar’s directorial The Archies, which also marked Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan and Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor.

Navya said that Agastya is far wiser than what she was at 23, mentioning that he’s going to do a great job in the film industry. More than advice, she offered her support and said that she is eagerly looking forward to what Agastya will do in his career.
