After nearly four months since its initial release, BTS member Jungkook‘s solo debut album, ‘GOLDEN’, is staging a comeback on the prestigious Billboard 200 chart. The latest data from Billboard, unveiled on February 27, showcased Jungkook’s album surging an impressive 62 spots on the Top 200 Albums chart compared to the previous week. ‘GOLDEN’, which initially stormed onto the scene at No.2 back in November, catapulted back to No. 75 in its 16th consecutive week on the Billboard 200.
‘GOLDEN’ now etches its name in history as the first album by a Korean solo artist to linger on the Billboard 200 for a solid 16 weeks. Additionally, Jungkook extends his own record as the lengthiest-charting K-pop soloist on Billboard’s Artist 100, securing the 41st spot in his 28th week on the chart. Jungkook’s title track, ‘Standing Next to You’ maintains its presence on Billboard’s Hot 100 for a staggering 16th week at No. 81. The track also ascends to No. 4 on the Digital Song Sales chart and retains its position at No. 22 on the Pop Airplay chart.
Meanwhile, ‘GOLDEN’ also maintains its stronghold, securing the No. 18 position on Billboard’s Top Current Album Sales chart, with a climb to No. 24 on the Top Album Sales chart.
Furthermore, all three singles from ‘GOLDEN’ reflect their strong performances on both of Billboard’s global charts this week. On the Global Excl. U.S. chart, ‘Seven’ (featuring Latto) claims the No. 18 spot, closely followed by ‘Standing Next to You’ at No. 24 and ‘3D’ (featuring Jack Harlow) at No. 74. The Global 200 chart also witnesses Jungkook’s tracks making waves, with ‘Seven’ ascending to No. 27, ‘Standing Next to You’ at No. 28, and ‘3D’ securing the No. 108 position.
