S.S. Rajamouli’s ‘RRR‘ starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan became a global sensation following its Oscar win. Along with Ram and Jr. NTR, Bollywood star Ajay Devgn also played pivotal roles in the film.
The actor portrayed the character of Alluri Venkatarama Raju, who is depicted as the on-screen brother of Ram Charan. This role is widely regarded as one of the most memorable cameos in recent years.
As per the latest update, it has now been revealed that Ajay charged a massive sum for the cameo.According to a viral post on X, Ajay Devgn charged Rs 35 crore for the role. “#AjayDevgn Gets a Remuneration of 35 Crores for an 8-Minute Role in #RRR,” they posted. However, SS Rajamouli and Ajay Devgn have yet to address the claims.

Meanwhile, ‘RRR’ has created history by becoming the first Indian feature film to win an Oscar. The film’s ‘Naatu Naatu’ soundtrack by MM Keeravani was awarded the Best Original Song Award at the ongoing 95th Academy Awards in Los Angeles, United States.
On the work front, Ajay is gearing up for his upcoming horror film ‘Shaitaan’ with Jyotika and R. Madhavan. The horror film is a remake of a Gujarati film, ‘Vash’.
