Sony India has expanded its product portfolio in India with the launch of the new SRS-XV500 portable speaker. The company claims that the speaker offers powerful sound, built-in lighting and a long-lasting battery. The speaker can also be plugged to a karaoke mic and other features to keep its users entertained.

Priced at Rs 31,990, the Sony SRS-XV500 portable speaker will be available across Sony retail stores (Sony Center and Sony Exclusive), the www.ShopatSC.com portal, major electronic stores and other e-commerce websites in India starting February 23 onwards.

Sony SRS-XV500 portable speaker: Key highlights

The Sony SRS-XV500 features two X-Balanced speaker units as well as two tweeters for clear vocals and an expanded sound field. The speaker also has a non-circular diaphragm and can adapt to any placement position (vertical and horizontal).
This speaker comes with dual input options which can be used to plug-in guitar or mics for karaoke. Both inputs have individual mixing, while the Echo and Key Control on the rear panel of the unit allows users to adjust sound to their preference.

The speaker also supports an ambient light feature that can be customised from the Fiestable mobile app. It also has a touch panel for users to control modes, settings, and lighting
The SRS-XV500 speaker also promises to offer up to 25 hours of playback with a single charge. The speaker also supports quick charging where 10 minutes of charge will offer up to 2.5 hours of playing time. With the Battery Care Function, users also won’t have to worry about overcharging the speaker.
The speaker has an IPX4 certified body for water resistance and comes with USB connectivity for the plug-and-play feature.
