Ever since Farhan Akhtar introduced Ranveer Singh as the new Don, there’s been immense curiousity around who shall be the female lead in the movie. Farhan further teased fans as he put out a story saying that a special announcement around ‘Don 3‘ will be made today, February 20.
As per a latest report in Bollywood Hungama, the new announcement is about the female lead and Kiara Advani will be introduced opposite Ranveer Singh.The report suggests that Kiara fits the bill completely and she has never been paired opposite Ranveer. The actress is also looking forward to playing this stylish part in the movie and collaborating with Farhan and Ranveer.
Kiara is largely known for her roles in romcoms and comedies. But with ‘Don 3’, and ‘WAR 2’, the actress surely will break into the action genre with a bang. While we await for a confirmation on this from the official team, it is to be noted that Kiara was spotted at Farhan’s office and was seen with his partner Ritesh Sidhwani, just a day after the ‘Don 3’ announcement was made.
While netizens also were upset about Ranveer replacing SRK, Farhan had broken silence on it during a chat with BBC Asian Network and said, “I’m just really looking forward to get it going. I mean Ranveer is amazing. He’s great for the part. He’s also as you can imagine, really excited and really nervous, about the thing you’re filling some big shoes before you. But we went through the same emotional process when Shah Rukh did it and everyone was like ‘Oh my God, how can you replace Mr. Bachchan?.’ That whole thing happened then,” he said.
