Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon have won over the audiences with their new and unique love story ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya‘. The film which hit screens on Friday, captured the interest of fans with its plot depicting a romance between a human and a robot.
The film has seen good response at the box office, amassing an estimated Rs 35 crore at the domestic box office and over Rs 50 crore at international markets including USA, Australia, and New Zealand. With a staggering release across 1300 screens overseas and close to 3000 screens in India, the film kicked off its theatrical run with decent numbers, garnering Rs 6.7 crore on its opening day and kept growing at the boxoffice, to earn over Rs 9.65 crore on Day 2, and its highest collection on Sunday, with a total of Rs 10.75 crore.

The positive word of mouth and good reviews translated into a notable Monday collection of Rs 3.65 crore that set the tone for on the week. Tuesday’s collection was also reported around the Rs 3.80 crore nett.

Monday’s performance was crucial as it determined the film’s momentum for the rest of the week, especially with Valentine’s Day promising another surge in audience turnout. Expectations are high for another significant jump in box office numbers.

Additionally, the promotional offer of ‘Buy 1 Get 1’ valid until February 14th, Valentine’s Day, is anticipated to drive more footfalls and boost collections. Analysts predict that if the film manages to sustain its momentum and collects around Rs 9-10 crore with this strategy, it would mark a commendable achievement for Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya at the box office.
