MUMBAI: A 56-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday by the Andheri Police on charges of molesting two underage girls. The victims, aged 8 and 9 years, were terrified after the incident and did not confide in anyone at home.
It was only after one of them spoke to a school teacher did the incident come to light.
According to the police, the incident had occurred on Sunday while the girls were playing near their house.After the victims’ teacher informed their mothers, they approached the police and a case was registered under the POCSO Act.
