Apple is expected to launch a new iPhone SE model in 2025. The upcoming smartphone is rumoured to feature the design language of the iPhone 16 model which is slated to launch this year.

iPhone SE 4 2025: What to expect

A tipster named Majin Bu has shared a post on the social media platform to reveal that the iPhone SE 4 may feature the Dynamic Island and a single rear camera setup.Bu claims the iPhone SE 4 “could have a design very similar to that of the current iPhone 16 still in development.”

However, the upcoming iPhone 16 smartphone is expected to come with a dual-rear camera setup. Apart from this, the iPhone SE 4 is likely to look similar to the iPhone 16 and may even include the Dynamic Island that was introduced in the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max smartphones.
It’s also important to note that the notification-related feature is available in both iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro models.

The X post also claims that the dimensions of the rumoured iPhone SE model is expected to be similar to the older iPhone XR.
However, the tipster has warned that this rumour may not be true. More details are expected to arrive in the upcoming days.
In September 2023, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claimed that the iPhone SE 4 will sport a 6.1-inch OLED panel. This aligns with the latest rumour about the upcoming iPhone 16 design language.
Kuo also noted that the iPhone SE 4 will debut Apple’s in-house 5G modem chip which is likely to eventually replace the Snapdragon 5G modem chip which is used on existing iPhone models.
He also said that the Apple 5G modem chip is expected to debut on the iPhone SE 4 but may not work with mmWave 5G signals that deliver the fastest data speeds. The chip is also rumoured to allow the iPhone SE 4 to work with sub-6GHz 5G signals that include mid-band and C-band signals.
