The trailer for Bhumi Pednekar starrer ‘Bhakshak‘ has been unveiled, following the earlier buzz created by its teaser release. Inspired by true events, Netflix’s forthcoming crime thriller is set to premiere on February 9. Directed by Pulkit, the film also features Sanjay Mishra, Aditya Srivastava, and Sai Tamhankar in pivotal roles. Shortly after its release, Shah Rukh Khan gave the trailer a shoutout.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Khan shared the film’s trailer. When the film’s director Pulkit thanked him, the actor replied, “All the best for the film. It’s such a hard-hitting film…!! And the whole cast is outstanding.”

In ‘Bhakshak’, Bhumi will be seen playing an investigative journalist determined to uncover the truth and seek justice. As the protagonist, she delves into the depths of a heinous crime, shedding light on the harsh realities of crimes perpetrated against women.
The film follows Vaishali Singh, played by Bhumi, as she uncovers shocking secrets hidden about a girl’s shelter home. The trailer opens with a scene showing a room filled with girls who are abandoned. Sanjay Mishra informs Pednekar about the wrong things done to these girls, and then she starts to gather information about them.
