Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan are all set to share the screen in their upcoming web series Citadel. While the makers have remained tight-lipped about the project, the duo recently gave a sneak peek at their work and left fans thoroughly thrilled.
Taking to their Instagram handles, Samantha and Varun shared behind-the-scenes moments of watching the show with the makers Raj and DK.The duo added a playful note alongside the photos that read, “Finally, we got to watch something…And we are like 😱.”

Samantha further teased fans by posting a picture of herself in the dubbing studio.

Directed by Raj and DK, Citadel is the Indian adaptation of the international series of the same name, originally created by the Russo Brothers. Strong reports suggest that Samantha will be seen performing high-octane action sequences alongside Varun.

Priyanka Chopra, who headlined the American version of the show, recently opened up about the interconnected storylines. She expressed her excitement, stating, “Raj and DK are so amazing, so talented, and they’ll bring their own spin to the Indian installment. So, I’m very excited.”

Samantha, who has been on a break focusing on her health, is reported to make a comeback with Citadel. Last year, the actress announced a sabbatical to address her autoimmune condition, myositis. Now, her return to the screen is eagerly anticipated by fans.
