A 24-year-old man suffering from ulcerative colitis was arrested for allegedly strangling his mother. The accused, Ajay Singh, had learned from the internet that slow poison could cause ulcers, leading him to suspect his mother of poisoning his food. Ajay, who completed MSc and was preparing for exams, confessed to the crime after initially claiming it was a suicide.
