Carl Pei-led consumer tech company Nothing launched three devices under its affordable CMF branding in 2023. The London-based company is reportedly working on another new wearable to add to the CMF lineup. According to a report by GizmoChina, Nothing is planning to introduce a new CMF by Nothing Neckband Pro. The report claims that the new device has been spotted on India’s BIS and UAE’s TRDA certification sites.These listings have also revealed some details about the rumoured neckband.

CMF by Nothing Neckband Pro: What to expect

On UAE’s TDRA platform, the rumoured neckband is listed with the model number B164 and it received certification number ER28302/24. The listing confirms it’s a Bluetooth device and reveals the official name of the product “Neckband Pro”.
Meanwhile, the BIS listing (which is dated January 10) also shows the neckband with the B164 model number. However, both listings haven’t revealed the key specifications of the upcoming device but suggest that the Neckband Pro will launch for both UAE and Indian markets.As official appearances start doing the rounds, more details about the Neckband Pro’s features and launch date are expected to surface in the coming days.

Nothing Phone (2a) may launch at MWC 2024

Nothing is expected to launch its upcoming smartphone, the Nothing Phone (2a) at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 event in February. Recently, the company’s CEO Carl Pei took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to tease the upcoming phone.

Some leaked renders of the Nothing Phone (2a) are also available on the internet which shows that the upcoming smartphone phone is expected to keep the unique Glyph interface from its predecessor. However, the Phone (2a)’s Glyph interface may include fewer LEDs.
The rumoured smartphone is likely to come powered by the Dimensity 7200 chipset, backed by 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The Nothing Phone (2a) may sport an AMOLED display with a centrally aligned punch-hole to house the selfie camera and is also expected to run Nothing OS 2.5 based on Android 14 out-of-the-box. The report also claims that the smartphone may carry a price tag of $400 (nearly Rs 33,000) on the global market.
