Samsung has confirmed that these features have received regulatory clearances and certifications from India’s Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation, highlighting their reliability and adherence to health standards.
Galaxy Watch6 users can easily access the Samsung Health Monitor App via the Galaxy Store, following simple instructions to measure their blood pressure and ECG. The update will also extend to Galaxy Watch4 and Watch5 series smartwatches.
Steps to measure blood pressure using Galaxy Watch

  • Calibrate your Galaxy Watch following the instructions provided in the app.

  • Rest your fingertip on the Galaxy Watch’s top button for 30 seconds to record ECG data.
  • The collected data is automatically synced to the paired Galaxy smartphone, generating a detailed PDF report for convenient analysis.
