NEW DELHI: A drone struck a merchant ship off the Indian coast on Saturday, two maritime agencies said.
The strike did not cause any casualties, AFP reported.
A maritime agency said the vessel was linked to Israel.
The unclaimed attack has caused a fire on board, according to the British military’s United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations and maritime security firm Ambrey.
It said the “Liberia-flagged chemical/products tanker… was Israel-affiliated.”
