Karnataka logged 104 active cases on Saturday while the number of active cases climbed to 271 from 175 the day before. The test positivity rate is 5.93%. No deaths were reported today. Of the 1752 tests done, 1195 were RTPCR and 557 RAT.
Only six Covid patients in the state are currently in ICU while 258 are treated at home. It also shows the infection is mild, say experts.
Among districts, Bengaluru has the highest number of active cases in the state -234.Bengaluru reported 85 fresh cases today. Mysuru, Shivamogga, and Chikkamagaluru have 12, six, and four active cases respectively. Dakshina Kannada reported three active cases today.
