Rebel star Prabhas‘ much-anticipated movie ‘Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire’ will hit theaters on December 22. The movie is garnering immense hype as it is directed by KGF director Prashanth Neel, and people expect it to be more than a box office hit.
Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran play the lead roles in this movie, along with an ensemble cast that includes Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and Ramachandra Raju. It is a retelling of Neel’s debut film ‘Ugramm,’ which was released in 2014. The background score and music of the movie is composed by Ravi Barsur.

The director revealed ‘Salaar’ to be a narration about two childhood friends, Deva (Prabhas) and Vardha (Prithviraj). However, the official trailers and posters of the movie sport a rustic, dark, and violent theme and scenes. The movie has received an Adult certification for its severe action and violent sequences, and fans find it more similar to the background theme of Prashanth’s previous box office hit ‘KGF.’ The movie has already broken booking websites due to high demands for the preview shows, and the Telangana government has asked theaters to add an extra 1 AM show for the movie.

Moreover, Prabhas starrer ‘Salaar’ is going to compete with Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Dunki’ at the box office, which was released on December 21. The Prabhas and Shah Rukh Khan fan fight is making the release of this action flick more crucial.
