NEW DELHI: David Warner always keeps his fans busy with regular posts on social media. His posts often revolve around quality family time, featuring images and moments shared with his three daughters Ivy Mae, Indi Rae, and Isla Rose.
In another social media post, the Australian opener shared a heartwarming picture where he was being interviewed by his eldest daughter Ivy and captioned, “Breaking!! Ivy warner gets this summers hottest news!!”

Warner’s IPL team Delhi Capitals also shared the same image with a rather hilarious caption: ‘Hey Dad, want to tell us your picks for the auction?’.It was in reference to the Women’s Premier League auction that is slated to be held on Saturday.

Warner also broke his silence on the criticism by former Australia pacer Mitchell Johnson saying that “everyone’s entitled to their opinions”.
In a newspaper column, Johnson had questioned whether Warner had been in strong enough form to set his own retirement date. Johnson had also opened up old wounds by referencing Warner’s role in the ball-tampering saga in South Africa.
The 37-year-old Warner had conveyed his wish for a Sydney farewell following the conclusion of the third and final Test against Pakistan, set to commence on January 3, 2024. The three-match Test series kicks off in Perth on December 14.
Having accumulated 8,487 runs from 109 Tests since his debut in 2011, Warner declined to engage in the controversy, stating that his former teammate is entitled to express his opinions, regardless of how critical they may be.
“It wouldn’t be a summer without a headline, would it?” he asked at the launch of Fox Cricket’s summer coverage in Parramatta on Friday.
