After a power packed weekend, ‘Animal‘ continues to woo fans through the week days also. The film has recorded strong advance booking for Tuesday. According to sacnilk, ‘Animal’ has earned Rs 10.22 crore in advance booking for day five, from 16,944 shows across the country.
On December1, ‘Animal’ hit the screens and scored Rs 63 crore, over the weekend this film went on to mint over Rs 200 crore.At the end of four days, ‘Animal’ has managed to earn Rs 241.43 crore.
Speaking about his character of an alpha made with grey shades, Ranbir had previously shared, “It’s a new territory for me. It’s a crime drama and a father-son story. It’s something audiences don’t expect me to do. It has got shades of grey. He is very alpha, again something I’m not. So, I’m looking forward to it. It is completely out of my comfort zone. As an actor, such challenges are important as it really shook me up. It made me work hard, and realise how inadequate I’m and how much I needed to work to reach a certain level.”
In recent times, there has been massive buzz about Ranbir Kapoor starring in Kishore Kumar biopic, which will be helmed by filmmaker Anurag Basu. Giving an update about the same, the actor had stated, “The Kishore Kumar biopic has been in discussion for some time. We are still in talks. Basu is working on the script. Apart from that, there is nothing.”
