JAMMU: A case has been registered against a social media user from Kashmir for allegedly hurting religious sentiments of Hindus by posting some objectionable content on X (formerly Twitter), Dr Vinod Kumar, senior superintendent of police, Jammu, said on Friday.
Sharing details, National president of Ekam Sanatan Bharat Ankur Sharma wrote on his X handle that Ekam Sanatan Bharat Dal’s Ajay Singh Saini on Thursday got an FIR registered against “jihadist” iamkashmiri66 (X handle) for hurting Hindus’ religious sentiments by depicting Lord Shiva as porn star Johnny Sins.
This FIR comes in the backdrop of students of various educational institutions in the Valley, including NIT-Kashmir and SKUAST-Kashmir, protesting against an alleged “blasphemous message” posted by a NIT student.
