Zoom announces update with new features to make meetings more productive

To make organisations more productive and to make the most out of their meetings, Zoom has rolled out multiple new updates and features for its video calling software. Techradar reports that the hosts of Zoom meetings will now be able to start a meeting with Focus Mode starting automatically. This feature will help businesses and corporations to monitor several employees during the meetings, although this feature was basically designed for online learning.
Zoom’s Focus Mode allows the participants to see themselves, the host (or co-hosts) and the content that is being shared in the meeting. Although, the hosts and the co-hosts can also select a Gallery View to see all the participants at once.
Zoom has also included the ability to save a custom Gallery View in an order that the hosts prefer. Here, the hosts of the meeting can now save a personalised gallery order for each unique meeting ID. It allows them to load the saved order before a meeting, instead of having to change the order manually, every time they start a new video call.
Video Mail
Zoom has also introduced a new update for its cloud phone system to make it easier for the co-workers to stay connected. Voicemails are used to leave someone a message when they aren’t reachable on their phones, but this feature is about to become obsolete and most people don’t care to go through them. This is why Zoom has decided to offer its users a better alternative to normal voicemail.
Zoom users who use this service from their smartphones will now be able to send their colleagues video-greetings that will allow users to to leave video messages right from their voicemail inbox. Zoom’s new features will allow employees to stay connected with their colleagues regardless of where they are working from.
