pubg: PUBG maker Krafton permanently bans over 58,000 BGMI accounts in India

With a view to curb cheating, Krafton Inc., the developer of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has slapped permanent bans on 58,611 game accounts from December 20, 2021 to December 26, 2021.
In a blog post on the BGMI website, Krafton announced:
58,611 accounts were permanently banned from Dec 20 ~ Dec 26.
We would also like to present you the entire list of cheaters who have tried to ruin our Battlegrounds.”
The post contains an exhaustive list of the banned BGMI offenders and can be viewed and downloaded as a PDF.
“BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA will strive to implement strong sanctions with the ultimate goal of eradicating the use of illegal programs in order to provide you a pleasant gaming environment.”, added Krafton in the blog post.
Weeding out the hackers and cheaters has been high on Krafton’s agenda for some time as players have routinely complained about their game experience getting ruined because of the cheaters. In November, Krafton had removed over 35 lakh accounts to make the BGMI battleground a fair-playing ground. The bans are also permanent, which means that those accounts cannot be used again.
