Uddhav Thackeray seeks dismissal of government, President rule and elections in Maharashtra | India News – Times of India

MUMBAI: A day after the murder of Sena (UBT) leader Abhishek Ghosalkar Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray demanded that the state government be dismissed, President’s rule be imposed and elections be held in the state. Uddhav appealed to the Supreme Court (SC) to give an early decision on the Shiv Sena MLAs disqualification case and remove the unconstitutional government in the state. Uddhav also slammed Deputy CM and Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis over his comments that the opposition would blame him even if a dog comes under a vehicle in the state. Uddhav said Fadnavis was a psychopath Home Minister. Uddhav said Fadnavis was a very ruthless, hateful and merciless Home Minister. Uddhav said that Fadnavis was a ‘psychopath Home Minister’. Uddhav also questioned if someone had taken a supari (contract) to kill both Abhishek Ghosalkar and Mauris Noronha since the video footage of shooting on Abhishek, didn’t show Mauris firing the gun and there was no footage of Mauris killing himself. Uddhav said that the police must give the footage where Mauris is seen shooting Abhishek and shooting himself with the gun.
“Did Mauris shoot Abhishek Ghosalkar or someone else shot him? Did someone else give a supari (contract) to kill them both?. Earlier there was a gang war between two groups, now there is a gang war going on in the government,” Uddhav said.
“What do I do if a dog dies under a car? Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis said this yesterday. You (Fadnavis) are a very ruthless, merciless and heartless Home Minister. For Fadnavis I had earlier used the words bogus and blot. But now even these words are too mild for him. Maharashtra has got a psychopathic home minister. As Home Minister you have the responsibility of all animals and people. How do you equate a youth leader with a dog when he is being murdered? People understand that you wag your tail like a dog in front of Delhi. But do hooliganism in the state, and tell goons don’t be afraid even if there is a murder… come to BJP, we will forget everything, is this Modi a guarantee for hooligans? It seems so,” Uddhav said.
Uddhav was speaking at a press conference at Matoshree, the Thackeray family residence in Bandra (East). Uddhav said his party will not the Governor in Abhishek Ghosalkar case, because the previous Governor (Bhagat Singh) Koshyari Koshyari has a photo together with Mauris, a gangster when Mauris was felicitated by Koshyari.
“Director General of Police (DGP) Rashmi Shukla has written a letter to the public. I don’t remember if there was a time in history when the DGP had written such a letter. Shukla must have written such a letter because she had some humanity. Because she must have realized that the public no longer trusts the police. Now should Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis be mentally examined? Such a question arises. Whenever something untoward happens in the state, the minister of that department is held responsible. If the affairs are not done well by the ministers, the Chief Minister is held responsible, but the Chief Minister is busy taking pictures with goons,” Uddhav said.
Uddhav also slammed the attacks on journalist Nikhil Wagle, activist Vishwabhar Chaudhary and lawyer Asim Sarode in Pune on Friday. “The attack appears to have been planned. But instead of arresting the attackers, the police detained them (Waghle, Sarode and Chaudhary). Even after the BJP office-bearer threatened to carry out such an attack, the police did not take action,” Uddhav said.
