Actor Emraan Hashmi recently revealed that after appearing on Koffee with Karan, he ‘made enemies’ for his controversial comments about his film industry contemporary Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, his uncle Mahesh Bhatt, and his ‘Murder’ co-star Mallika Sherawat.
In an interview, the ‘Tiger 3’ star stated that he hasn’t lost any of his edge, and would probably generate even more controversy if he returns to Koffee with Karan now.
The actor further added that if he goes on Koffee with Karan again, he will make a mess of things again. According to him, he would probably be worse off in the rapid-fire round than he was before.
On a humorous note, the actor revealed that he doesn’t have anything against these people. He just wanted to win the hamper. Emraan’s sentiments about Koffee with Karan were echoed by Ranbir Kapoor, who said on a podcast that he has boycotted the show because of all the trouble it has landed him in.
For the unversed, Emraan had to issue a public apology after calling Aishwarya ‘plastic’ on the popular talk show. The actor stated that he didn’t mean it. He went on to say that he is a big fan of Aishwarya.
